Wild Alaska Rockfish is considered lean fish due to their relatively low oil content. Like many other types of Alaskan whitefish – including wild Halibut, Pacific Cod and Rocksole – they are naturally low in fat. The flesh of Wild Rockfish is slightly pink, firm yet tender, and mild in taste. It can be prepared using a variety of cooking methods and pairs well with a wide range of side dishes. It is excellent whether sautéed, roasted, broiled or grilled, and perfect paired with rubs, marinades or sauces. Makes for great Ceviche too!
